Still Here....Still Reading

I feel like I’ve fallen off the face of the Earth! But I’m still here and I’m still reading!!


It’s summer time and I’m a School Librarian opening a brand new, beautiful, combined Public/School in less than a month! Talk about crunch time!! I’ve taken two collections, weeded them down to one, moved all the books into the new facility (with help, of course), and now fixing to rebarcode the entire library for a new system! Not to mention that I’m now a Public Librarian, as well as a School Librarian! So ordering books for a public library is a whole new world for me! 


So now you can see why it may seem that I’ve fallen out of the book blogging world...but I assure you...I HAVE NOT!!

From the Library I’m currently reading between shades of gray by Ruta Sepetys. This book is nominated for the 2012 Teen Top Ten. I’m reading it the Reading Challenge on my Blog: 2012 Teen Top Ten Reading Challenge

I recently finished On the Island by Tracey Gravis Graces, which I received on NetGalley. LOVED IT!! I didn’t blog about it, since it is not YA. Being a public librarian now, I feel it is my duty to read adult fiction (*this is just an excuse....I read it all the time!!) My review is on GoodReads at Review

When I get home from the library each day, I head straight to the pool in my backyard to relax for a bit. While floating, I’ve been reading Skip Rock Shallows by Jan Watson. This is a Christian romance novel, given to me to review by Tyndale. I hope to review this soon! Loving it so far. I will post a review for this one. I love providing great Christian romance for my YAs!

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas is currently on my eReader. Every chance I get, I’m reading it. This one was provided by the publisher on NetGalley. I predict, here and now, that this book is going to be BIG! I actually chanced reading it while floating today!! Gutsy, because I don’t want to drop my device in the pool!! But this book may be worth it! Look for this review!!

So there you have it.... hopefully books will be finished soon and reviews posted! Of course it might help if I didn’t read so many books at a time.
